Who we are …
Our main aim is to raise funds to create a historical trail winding through the village from the Ironbridge to Castell Coch. Along the way we also hope to uncover local history, archeology and stories from residents past and present. Please get in touch in you wish to contribute, volunteer, help with fundraising or maybe join THS.

Sarah Barnes
Sarah's family have lived in Tongwynlais for generations. She has a Masters degree in Documentary Photography and a keen interest in local history. Her aim is to help THS with the history trail and document stories from current residents of Tongwynlais for the village archives on the website. She hopes to create a photographic archive and a documentary film about 'The Ton' once the pandemic is a distant memory.
